Terms of Service

Scope and acceptance

These Terms form an agreement between you and Eroded Networks ("EN", "we", "us" or "our"). They apply to erodednetworks.com, supported game servers, profiles, leaderboards, progression, achievements, inventories, Duels, Discord-connected community features, support systems, the Store, AdminHub interfaces made available to authorised staff, and related services (together, the "Services").

By creating or linking an account, joining an EN server, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and any clearly presented server, event, competition or checkout rules that apply to the feature you use. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must also meet the age and account requirements of the game, Steam, Discord, Plutonium or other platform you use. The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you and must approve any purchase you are not legally able to make yourself.

Accounts and linked identities

EN uses supported external identities, including Steam, Discord and game-platform identifiers, to create or link your network profile. You must only link accounts you are authorised to use and must keep those external accounts secure. Do not share authentication links, one-time link codes or session access.

Your EN profile may connect progression, levels, achievements, statistics, purchases, memberships, roles, credits, Server Cash, inventory and moderation history across supported servers. Some identity links can only be changed through support because an incorrect unlink could separate entitlements or progression from their owner.

Tell us promptly through an official support channel if you suspect unauthorised access. We may temporarily restrict an account while we verify ownership or protect balances, entitlements and other players.

Community and play standards

You must use the Services lawfully and in a way that does not harm the network or community. In particular, you must not:

• cheat, exploit bugs, evade anti-cheat controls, manipulate statistics or rankings, collude dishonestly, or use unauthorised automation;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, dox, discriminate against or deliberately endanger another person;
• post unlawful, abusive, sexually exploitative, infringing, deceptive or malicious content;
• attack, probe, scrape at unreasonable volume, reverse engineer security controls, disrupt servers, or access data or administrative functions without permission;
• sell, rent or trade EN accounts, roles, progression, virtual balances or entitlements outside a feature we expressly provide; or
• use payment fraud, stolen payment methods, false disputes, money laundering or any attempt to convert virtual features into real-world gambling or cash-out activity.

Server-specific rules may address gameplay matters such as team limits, raiding, chat, map conduct or event formats. Those rules supplement these Terms and should be reasonably accessible before or during play.

Profiles and user content

Profiles can display your chosen name, avatar, linked identities, biography, cosmetics, achievements, statistics, leaderboard placements, supporter recognition and other showcase information. Comments, support messages and other material you submit remain yours or your licensor's.

You give EN a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, moderate and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and promote the Services. You confirm you have the rights needed to submit it. You may change or remove profile content through available controls, subject to records we reasonably retain for safety, moderation, dispute handling or legal purposes.

Public statistics and records reflect data received from supported services. We may correct, merge, hide or remove inaccurate, duplicated, manipulated or unsafe material. A leaderboard position is not guaranteed and may change as live data is processed.

Progression, rewards and virtual items

EN XP, levels, prestige, achievements, rewards, Server Cash, Credits, inventory items, Mystery Boxes, cosmetics, badges and similar features are limited licences to use network functionality. They are not legal tender, bank deposits or ownership interests and have no cash value unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Balances may be earned, purchased, granted, converted or transferred only through supported EN systems and subject to the limits shown there. Outcomes that are intended to be random are resolved by the server. Duels and competitive systems are gameplay features: they do not provide real-money wagering or withdrawal.

We may correct a balance or entitlement affected by fraud, duplicate delivery, a technical error, a reversed payment or abuse. We will not remove a valid paid entitlement arbitrarily, and this clause does not limit any remedy you have under consumer law.

Store, memberships and payments

Store offers, prices, currency, duration, recipient, included benefits and delivery conditions are shown before checkout. Check those details and the signed-in account carefully. Where gifting is available, you are responsible for selecting the intended recipient.

Payments are processed by the enabled payment provider, including Stripe where offered, under that provider's terms and privacy practices. EN does not receive or store your full card number through Stripe Checkout. We retain the transaction and fulfilment records needed to deliver the purchase, provide support, prevent fraud and meet accounting or legal obligations.

Membership benefits run for the duration shown in the Store. Benefits may differ by server and can depend on linked game or Discord accounts. If a recurring product is ever offered, its renewal frequency, price and cancellation method will be disclosed before purchase. A membership does not exempt anyone from community rules or moderation.

Refunds and Australian consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a paid product is not delivered, is materially different from its description, or a service has a major failure, contact us with the account and transaction details so we can investigate and provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, that may include redelivery, correction, replacement, cancellation or a refund.

We are not required to provide a refund merely because you changed your mind, selected the wrong recipient, lost access through your own breach, or no longer want a correctly delivered digital benefit, but we may consider reasonable requests individually. This does not affect any right you have because of a problem with the product or service. For general information, see the ACCC consumer guarantees guidance (opens in a new tab).

Contact EN support before opening a payment dispute where practical. A reversal or chargeback may place the related delivery under review; benefits tied to a genuinely reversed or fraudulent payment may be suspended or removed after review.

Moderation, enforcement and appeals

We may warn, mute, remove content, reverse illegitimate results, restrict features, suspend or ban an account when reasonably necessary to enforce rules, protect the community, investigate abuse, comply with law or maintain service integrity. The action may apply across EN services where conduct affects the wider network.

Automated telemetry and anti-cheat signals may help identify conduct for review, but a signal is not necessarily a final finding. You may ask support to review a moderation decision. Provide relevant evidence and do not harass staff or other players during an appeal. We may preserve evidence and audit records even if access ends.

Third-party services and intellectual property

Steam, Discord, Stripe, game publishers, Plutonium and other linked services are operated independently and have their own terms. EN is not affiliated with or endorsed by a game publisher merely because it operates a community server for that game. Your licence to the underlying game and your access to an external account remain governed by the relevant provider.

EN branding, original website code, layouts, artwork and service materials are owned by EN or used under licence. You may use the Services for personal community participation, but may not copy, resell or commercially exploit protected EN materials without permission. Third-party names and assets remain the property of their respective owners.

Availability, development and service changes

Game servers and online systems require maintenance and may experience outages, capacity limits, attacks, upstream failures or development periods. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain unchanged.

The Status page is the main community view of current availability and service notices across the whole network. The Changelog is the main community record of published website, platform and server changes. These pages are informational; an update may take time to appear while an incident is being assessed.

We may add, modify, rebalance or retire features for security, legal, technical or community reasons. Where a material change affects a paid benefit, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it and provide any remedy required by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, free community features are provided on an "as available" basis. You are responsible for keeping your devices and linked accounts secure and for maintaining any backup of content you cannot replace.

We are not responsible for loss caused by an independent third-party platform, your own unauthorised conduct, or events outside our reasonable control, except to the extent applicable law makes us responsible. Any limitation in these Terms operates only to the extent permitted by law and does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or loss that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains the information used to run accounts, profiles, servers, payments, moderation and community systems, and how to request access or correction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the network, law or our service providers change. The effective date appears at the top. For a material change, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice through the website, Changelog, Discord or another appropriate channel before it takes effect where practical. Your continued use after the effective date means the updated Terms apply to future use; changes do not remove rights already accrued under law.
