CoD progression balance and support rewards.

  • BO2 progression and support rewardsZombie kills now earn 5 base XP, knife kills add 2, and every five consecutive knife kills add 10. Crafting and quest XP rewards are halved. Fully rebuilt barriers earn 2 XP; successful revives scale with the round, from 50 XP at round 10 to a 500 XP cap at round 100. The XP bar updates locally and saves every 15 seconds. Map previews keep XP disabled until a playable Zombies map loads.

CoD progression improvements.

  • WaW, BO1 and Ghosts XP-bar improvementsAdded immediate combat XP-bar updates, a subtle animation and saves every 15 seconds. Knife kills earn 5 extra base XP, with 25 more for every five consecutive knife kills. Existing round rewards and Ghosts run rewards remain in place. Active matches receive the update on their next normal map load.

  • BO3 instant XP and knife streak bonusesAdded immediate XP-bar updates with a subtle animation and saves every 15 seconds. Knife kills earn 5 extra base XP, with 25 more for every five consecutive knife kills. Existing rewards, XP boosts and saved .xp preferences still apply. XP saves also continue after linked accounts are merged.
